Multiple monitors of same Hab.la widgets

Did some testing with Hab.la and Meebo. It’s possible for the same Hab.la account (and all of its widgets) to be monitored by one or more users simultaneously, utilizing the same or different Meebo account(s).

Presumably the same would be true for other Meebo-like applications (e.g., Pidgin). I’ll leave the testing of Meebo alternatives to their enthusiasts.

I’m speculating that this feature could be exploited by libraries in order to facilitate the sharing and/or transfer of patrons between chat reference service providers.
